Alberta Government Telephones was founded in 1906 in Edmonton, Alberta. Its industry was telecommunications and its headquarters remained in Edmonton, Alberta. It was acquired by Telus Communications in 1991 and was disbanded in 1996.
It was a part of Trans-Canada Telephone System.
