
The Alberta Linseed Oil Company, Ltd. was founded in 1912 by John McNeely, William McNeely and Harlan Yuill in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Its industry involved producing raw & boiled linseed oil and its headquarters remained in Medicine Hat, Alberta. It was acquired by Brandram-Henderson, Ltd. in 1918. In 1934 the firm was repurchased by Harlan Yuill and its product line branched into household cleaners, edible oil products, asphalt, roofing tar and paint. It went out of business in 1990.
