The American Motors Corporation was founded on January 14th, 1954 by a merger of the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and Hudson Motor Car Company. Its industry was automotive and its headquarters was in Southfield, Michigan. It was partially owned by Renault but was sold to the Chrysler Corporation in 1987.
