The Boss Washing Machine Company was founded in 1889 by Conrad Dietz in Cincinnati, Ohio. Its industry was washing machines and its headquarters remained in Cincinnati, Ohio. The firm filed for bankruptcy in 1937 and was restructured in 1940. Soon after, the company shut down in 1942.
