The Bussmann Manufacturing Company was founded in 1914 by Joe, Al, Frank, Lee & Harry Bussmann in St. Louis, Missouri. Its industry is circuit components and its headquarters is in Ellisville, Missouri. It was purchased by entrepreneur Max McGraw in 1929. Bussmann, along with its parent company, the McGraw-Edison Company, was acquired by Cooper Industries in 1985. It was bought by the Eaton Corporation in 2012.
