The Canadian Kodak Company, Ltd. was founded on November 8, 1899 by George Eastman in Toronto, Ontario as a branch of his Rochester-based Eastman Kodak Company. Its industry was photographic equipment and cameras and its headquarters remained in Toronto, Ontario. The company shut down operations on June 30, 2005 and its Kodak Heights site was mostly demolished.
