The Comfi-Tape Laboratory was founded in 1923 in Burlington, Vermont. It was a manufacturer of wound dressing for corns and callouses. The firm itself existed until at least 1943. From at least 1955 to 1960 the product was marketed as "Kris-Kross ComfiTape". No other references to the product could be found until 2017, when DermaRite Industries, LLC introduced a a similar wound dressing called ComfiTape.
