
The Creamette Company was founded in 1896 by James T. Williams in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its industry was pasta and its headquarters remained in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was sold to Borden, Inc. in 1979. It was then sold to the New World Pasta Company in 2001 who is its current parent. Before becoming its own company in 1917, it was sold by the Minnesota Macaroni Company and Mother's Macaroni Company.
