The Cribben & Sexton Company was founded in 1872 (incorporated February 11, 1898) by brothers Henry and William H. Cribben and James A. Sexton in Chicago, Illinois. Its industry was household appliances and its headquarters remained in Chicago, Illinois. In 1959, the company was acquired by the Waste King Corporation and was later consolidated into the firm in 1964.
