Dana-Warp-Mill-1900

The Dana Warp Mills were founded in 1892 by Woodbury K. Dana in Westbrook, Maine. Its industry was cotton and synthetic yarn and its headquarters remained in Westbrook, Maine. In 1955, the firm was acquired by the Massachusetts Mohair Plush Company and was operated as a division. The firm shut down in January 1958 and its plant was purchased by brothers Bertram W. and Arnold Spencer.
