E. T. Burrowes & Company was founded in 1873 (incorporated 1893) by Edward T. Burrowes in Portland, Maine. Its industry was window hardware, weatherstripping, automobile wheels, and billiard tables and its headquarters remained in Portland, Maine. The company was acquired by the Kenwood-Simmons Corporation in 1960(?). It dissolved in 1965.
