The American Radiator Company was founded in January 1892 following the merger of the Detroit Radiator Company, Michigan Radiator & Iron Manufacturing Company, Standard Radiator Company and Pierce Steam Heating Company. Its industry was heaters and its headquarters were in New York City, New York. It merged with the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company in 1929 to form the American Radiator & Standard Sanitary Corporation.
