The Chrysler Corporation was founded on June 6th, 1925 by Walter P. Chrysler as a reorganization of the Maxwell Motor Company. Its industry is automotive and its headquarters is in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In 1998, Chrysler merged with Daimler-Benz AG to form DaimlerChrysler AG. In 2007, the Chrysler part of the company was sold to Cerberus Capital Management. In 2009, Chrysler filed for bankruptcy however emerged later in the year. In 2014, Fiat S.p.A purchased Chrysler and formed a holding company: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. In January 1921, FCA merged with Peugeot S.A., forming Stellantis N.V.
