The Lincoln-Schlueter Floor Machine Company was founded in 1907 by Max L. Schlueter in Chicago, Illinois. Its industry was floor machines and its headquarters were in Chicago, Illinois (1896-1957) and Bowling Green, Ohio (1957-1971). Sometime between 1915 to 1925, the company changed its name to Lincoln-Schlueter. In 1952, the floor sanding machine division of the company was sold to Multi-Clean Products, Inc., and in 1957 was acquired by the American Floor Surfacing Machine Company. It was consolidated with American-Lincoln in 1971 after they moved their operations into the Bowling Green plant.
