FANDOM


The Fisher Body Corporation was founded on July 22nd, 1908 by brothers Frederick J. and Charles T. Fisher in Detroit, Michigan. Its industry was automobile coach building and its headquarters remained in Detroit, Michigan. It was owned by the General Motors Company from 1926 until being dissolved in 1984 with its operations transferred to other GM subsidiaries such as the newly created Fisher Guide division.
