The Fisher Guide division of the Automotive Components Group Worldwide (division of General Motors Company) was formed in 1984 after a merger between eight former Fisher Body plants and the Guide Lamp Corporation division. In 1989, Fisher Guide merged with the Inland division of GM. In 1999, the Delphi Automotive Systems Corporation (formerly ACG) split off from General Motors. In 2004, the division was consolidated into Delphi Delco Electronics Systems and Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems.
