
The Foley Saw Tool Company was founded in early-1923 (incorporated November 10, 1923) by Hugh B. Foley in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its industry is sharpening grinders and its headquarters have remained in Minneapolis, Minnesota (currently Wayzata). The company was purchased by Walter M. Ringer in 1926. In 1982, Foley merged with the Belsaw Machinery Company, forming the Foley-Belsaw Company.
