The firm of George S. Comstock was founded in 1846 by Adam Hauck and Jeremiah Senseman in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Its industry was farm equipment and its headquarters remained in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Following the death of Adam Hauck, brothers George and Samuel Hauck took over the firm in 1860. The company shut down in November 1917.
