The Gray Tractor Company was founded in 1914 by Joseph W. Gray in Minneapolis, Minnesota after acquiring the tractor business started by W. Chandler Knapp in 1908 in Rochester, New York. Its industry was tractors and its headquarters remained in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It went out of business in 1933.
