The H. H. Franklin Manufacturing Company was founded on July 14, 1893 (incorporated December 21, 1895) by Herbert H. Franklin in Syracuse, New York. Its industry was die castings and automobiles and its headquarters remained in Syracuse, New York. The firm went bankrupt in April 1934 and its plant was succeeded by Franklin Motors Inc.
