Heston & Anderson was founded in 1921 by Lorenzo R. Heston and Abner L. Anderson in Fairfield, Iowa. Its industry was wood working equipment and its headquarters remained in Fairfield, Iowa. The company was acquired by the St. Paul Foundry & Manufacturing Company in 1944 and operated as a division until its sale to the Fairfield Engineering Company in 1958.
