The Ideal Concrete Machinery Company was founded on September 26, 1904 by Frank A. Borst and John Groscop in Auburn, Indiana. Its industry was concrete machinery and its headquarters were in Auburn, Indiana (1904-1905), South Bend, Indiana (1905-1913) and Cincinnati, Ohio (1913-1927). In 1927, the company merged with four other firms to form the Consolidated Concrete Machinery Corporation.
