The Lansing-Company was founded on October 8, 1881 by Benjamin F. Davis and Edward W. Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. Its industry was wheelbarrows and concrete machinery and its headquarters remained in Lansing, Michigan. In 1956, Lansing Steel Fabricators, Inc. was absorbed into the company and in 1960 was acquired by A. J. Industries, Inc. The company closed down in 1967.
