The Licking Valley Company was founded in 1896 (incorporated July 1905) by Arthur B. Klein, Charles A. Groom, and Edgar Friedlander in Covington, Kentucky. Its industry was distilled whiskey and its headquarters remained in Covington, Kentucky. The firm ceased operations in 1916.
