The Logan Company was founded in 1876 (incorporated 1885) by Albert G. Dow in Louisville, Kentucky. Its industry was conveyors (originally wire partitions and outdoor furniture) and its headquarters remained in Louisville, Kentucky. A majority stake of the company was sold to the George Meyer Manufacturing Company in 1966. The Meyer company along with the rest of the Logan Company were acquired by the Automatic Sprinkler Company of America in 1968. The company dissolved in 1994.
