
The Massey-Harris Company, Ltd. was founded in 1847 by David Massey in Newcastle, Ontario. Its industry was agricultural equipment and its headquarters was in Toronto, Ontario. It merged with the A. Harris, Son & Company in 1891. In 1953, it merged with the Ferguson Company which formed Massey Ferguson, Ltd.
