The National Glove Company was founded in 1900 as a consolidation of multiple glove firms in the United States. Its industry was specialty gloves and its headquarters were in Columbus, Ohio (1900?-1954) and Coshocton, Ohio (1954-1988). In 1954, the National Glove Co. was acquired by Pretty Products, Inc. and its plant moved from Columbus to Coshocton, Ohio. The firm was acquired by the newly-formed Lancaster Colony Corporation in 1962. The company was dissolved in 1988.
