The National Radiator Company was founded on May 16, 1894 by C. R. Fowler in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Its industry was radiators and its headquarters were in Norristown, Pennsylvania (1894-1896) and Johnstown, Pennsylvania (1896-1955). In 1927, the National Radiator Corporation was formed to acquire six radiator firms in the U.S., including the National Radiator Company. In 1955, the company merged with the United States Radiator Corporation, forming the National-U.S. Radiator Corporation.
