The Rose Manufacturing Company was founded on February 11, 1897 by Edwin M. Rosenbluth in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a manufacturer of chemicals, spices and automobile lanterns. The company went bankrupt and subsequently dissolved in 1957.
