The Sears Manufacturing Works was founded in 1895 (incorporated 1908) by Albert H. Sears in Peru, Illinois. Its industry was agricultural implements and its headquarters remained in Peru, Illinois. In 1910, the firm was acquired by the Independent Harvester Company.

Mentioned in the 1909-1910 edition of Thomas' Register of American Manufacturers.
