The Seville Packing Company was founded and incorporated on June 13, 1896 by Marc M. Michael in Jersey City, New Jersey. Its industry involved grocery importing and production of olive oils and combined olives and pimientos and its headquarters were in Jersey City, New Jersey (1896-1897) and New York City, New York (1897-1907). The firm imported Nicelle olive oil from Spain and biscuits/crackers from Peck, Fream & Company of London. The company filed for bankruptcy in October 1906 and the process was completed on January 16, 1907.
