The Shaw Manufacturing Company was founded in 1903 by Stanley W. Shaw in Galesburg, Kansas. Its industry was farm machinery, motorcyles and automobiles (originally a Elgin watch dealer) and its headquarters remained in Galesburg, Kansas. The company was sold to the Bush Hog Manufacturing Company in 1962 where it remained as a division until 1974.
