In about 1969, the division was renamed ITT Vulcan Electric, and in 1972 operations were consolidated with ITT's Aetna Electric division in Kezar Falls, Maine. The division was purchased by a private investor, Herbert Quick of St. Petersburg, Florida, from ITT in February 1983.
