The Waters-Genter Company was founded in 1921 by Glen M. Waters and Harold Genter in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Its industry was electric toasters and its headquarters remained in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company was acquired by Max McGraw in 1926 and integrated into his McGraw Electric Company in 1929. The company was dissolved in 1938 after McGraw moved toaster manufacturing to Elgin, Illinois and operated as the Toastmaster Products Division.
