The William Bayley Company was founded in 1881 by Timothy Rogers in Springfield, Ohio. Its industry was fencing and window hardware and its headquarters remained in Springfield, Ohio. It was acquired by William D. Bayley in 1904. In 1964, the company was acquired by the Aetna Industrial Corporation. The company filed for bankruptcy in 1996 and closed down in 1998.
