Wyeth Laboratories was founded in 1860 by John & Frank Wyeth in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its industry was pharmaceuticals and its headquarters was in Madison, New York (previously Collegeville, Pennsylvania and Radnor, Pennsylvania). It was sold to the American Home Products Corporation in 1932 where it remained a division. In 1943, it merged with Ayerst, McKenna & Harrison, Ltd. It was bought out by Pfizer, Inc. in 2009. It owned the Forhan Company for some time before selling it to John Oak Remedies in 2005.
